It's interesting but if you hate it and can't see it going anywhere you like then fuck it IMHO :)

I would normally be all "work bigger and scale down to hide the hand wiggles" but that's less of an option with digital unless you splurge for huge screens.

i should keep fucking with it, i think i need to figure out a faster coloring or something method on procreate, my usual hack takes a long time with menuing on the ipad

Why hide the wiggles? Why?

I love to see a picture that has the artists organic linework viewable. I nice perfect line looks good, but it also looks mechanical. Real life is not perfect. And neither should ones artistic vision. This way, yer organic line is harder to copy, and will stand out. I mean, this is beautiful. Even if it does take a long time. Cant really argue the results. Especially those eyes. :)

Ultimately tho, it is all in what you want.

Luckily I'm a person who does not hit undo 8000 times before the line is perfect, but I still do like a big smooth curve to appear smooth! I'm glad you like it, I have more experimenting to do :D

Experimenting is good, you never know what will work or how much better you can get without doing so. But you dont want to loose the personality. I hope you can find yer style.

procreate has that streamline setting for tools for smoothing which is its own fiddly little rabbit hole. i never had much luck with it.

procreate is such a beast of an art app, it does so many things well (and the spraypaint tool is a gas)

yeah its weird to draw and feel like a computer has taken over the line - i love holding and making it go BWOOP straight though lol

these thin line experiments feel to me a lot like rock poster art, very cool vibe
