Being born blind is considered bad luck amongst the pride. Most cubs born blind are simply tossed aside, left to either survive on their own or die trying.
This young cub was one of the few to survive.
Born a fighter, this lioness over came many hardships and made it to adulthood.
Well into her adulthood she came across her births mothers pride. Believing that the young lioness had proved herself useful, was than accepted back into her pride.
