I honestly thought the artist was going for a "jesus vibe" but then i also thought it was silly. She's no jewish carpenter.

I also don't think she wound down for our sins.

no, okay, she actually does something like that in her story...

...but that would be taking the story backwards.

This is just a "glitchy mass produced floozy" that is alive only for a few minutes each day, does not really understand what is happening and is usually damaged or discarded when she is wound down without even knowing her life is in danger, and that does not even get to see when people are fed up by her not being what is advertised, because she is wound down.

So... we would be comparing an activist militant philosopher with regal descent on his mother's side and the will to change the world, while actively refusing to raise to the throne, that got (essentially) killed for his unwillingness to take a position of power that people already wanted him to take...

...passive object of desire discarded or destroyed when the desire passes while she is physically unable to reply or act, and that cannot have a say in how her life is ended because she did everything that was asked to her... but she was still found lacking.

I did say that it was inspired by the last remaining first edition Sony AIBOs whose diligent owners are still trying to keep "alive", while the vast majority were discarded like trash.

She's basically one of a bunch of identical automatons, and people get fed up of winding them to do simple stuff that is little more than child's play, few actually take time to train them to do anything complex... and then the later models are also glitchier because the man making them ramps up production and that makes a lot of them imperfect...

...so after an initial "boom" basically nearly everybody discards them.

They might be both tragic stories. But they are far from anywhere similar.

Comparing her to Jesus would be "kinda" backwards. So... I don't think the artist wanted to imply anything like that.
