Code:Genom, Issue 02 cover art, The new Starfallen
In this Issue:
"As special operative Zoranne makes her way through unending hoards of outdated battle droids, random event stops her from getting the crucial data that she and her team needed to retrieve, corrupting the required part of the databank, before it was fully downloaded.
But not all is lost, due to operative’s trained eye that was able to discover fingerprints of the technician, HOUNDs can locate target, that they are really hunting for. According to the latest data from the HQ, this person has been seen in the capital of Ascent Unity - Juke city. A city, to which one young, full of energy and enthusiasm girl makes her way in a fairly cheap yet fast-moving cross-continent train right now.
The paths are clear, the road is set and only journey itself will show true colors of this world."

This precise issue didn’t require a whole lot of designs, since the entire story takes its place inside a single train. Arno and Horny are the only characters that needed to have full-fledged concepts this issue to be drawn. And I really wanted to see what I’m capable of as an artist and how people would react on the entire idea of that project asap.
Basically it was a test of my skills with minimum requirements back in the day.
I plan to have 2 issues before 02 actually - #00 and #01. FIrst would be about prehistory, of how the world came to be, its origins e.t.c. And 01 would start the story itself, after which comes 02 and so on.
#00 and #01 are going to be way more complicated in term of narrative and visuals due to the story.
It's not the best way, but it allowed me to experience the work process of creating a comic. I havent drawn comcis before and I needed something more easy to deal with.

It's an interesting decision to start in the middle of the story, and I hope you actually manage to go back and start the other two. Sadly, not a fan of a pre destination thing (I have a hard time going back and reading an earlier work once I know how it turns out in Later works) so I'll likely Pass on reading it till I can do so in order.

I have an... intricate story that revolves around 3-4 people and it interchanges between them. You won't have to come back to this story, because this issue is the start of the story for Horny and her uncle and previous ones refer this world in general and Horny's mother Zory - they are more of an introduction to the world.
Then you don't have to worry, because first other 2 issues are going to tell stories about other people.
