This was certainly a surprise, and a most pleasant one at that! We've been visiting various cities in ruin for a while now, with a mix of gear. I like to think of this one being early on in the journey. You've done a smashing job rendering the scene and all those within it, and I admire your style as always... :)
I rather like this.
The discussion apparent amidst the setting, of perseverance over dire odds and obstacles, is very well conveyed - to say nothing of the accuracy and excellence with which the characters themselves are rendered, appearing slightly haggard and worn but not worn-out by the journey.
