This is a Patreon reward I got from 
p-aei who is amazing and deserves all of the loves.
In FF14 make Calex as a lalafell summoner, and had the idea that he has his own version of summoning that involves drawing aether into himself, and he likes to fight side by side next to his carbuncle in melee. The teachers at the arcanist school were already concerned about Calex and his insistence on not wearing anything clothing. Then they were alarmed to say the least when Calex would suddenly sprout tails and long fluffy ears whenever he got into a fight. But, then Calex gained the power of the Dreadwyrm Trance,, and took on more drastic changes that didn't reverse when he stopped using its power. His teachers are concerned to say the least. Calex on the other hand doesn't see the issue. Having wings makes him way more capable in combat and these new claws are great for fighting unarmed. not to mention the horns and tail have their uses too. Nope, Calex has no issue with the side effects he has suffered and fully embraced them. While Calex's teachers debate what to do with him, the young lalafell himself takes a break, resting in a tree outside Limsa Lominsa enjoying a light snack. He feels perfectly at peace, and is looking forward to showing off his new capabilities in his next class.
