The third version of this book cover. I think I like this one best, in part because it has a really good title included. In the middle we see a Doberman (or Rottweiler?) and a vixen. Surrounding them is a flotilla of ships. Yet in the background (besides the planets) is a shadowy figure in a captain's cap. Just what species is he?
