Boston prayed for someone to help revive a fallen warrior, saddened by what has become of them. Out of the array of figures that stared him down in his mind, he saw a very familiar figure float infront of him. It was none other than his partner, Synth. Synth told Boston, "I can help revive them, but by doing so, you will never see me again. I know we have a huge adventure infront of us still. This is your choice." Boston, knowing how short the time window was, agreed; saddened by his choice. Synth asked, "Are you sure?" Another firm nod. Within seconds, Boston watched his friend bid him farewell, heading away and vanishing behind a sealed door inside his mind. There was so much Boston wanted to say. He wanted to call him back and tell him 'never mind it!', but the choice was made. Boston came back to reality as breath entered the lungs of the fallen warrior. Depressed and desperate, he still tries to cling onto what was lost. Only once, has he heard his friends words whisper in the wind; to remind him of their memories: "Memories Never Fade."

A few sunday's ago; my Pokemon D&D group had a very powerful battle which ended up being an extremely emotional session for me.
I personally called the session "Self Reflection". In our campaign, we deal with alot of alternative universes and during that session, we had to fight alternative versions of our characters. We all of course beat them, but only Boston's alternative self perished. Not able to see his pokemon in such saddness and having no other real choice, Boston made the ultimate sacrifice that he wasn't expecting: losing his friend, Synth. Synth was one of the few darkrai's in our world and when he was originally evil, he has changed for the better due to how Boston treated him. Boston could relate alot to this guy and even called him a second brother. Boston was torn apart after this. A week of being alone, depressed, scared and a few occasions, almost died from his stupidity.

Boston still searches for Synth, feeling like he is alive somewhere out there in the world. Even if it is not possible, why give up?
Boston has left a spot in his team as a way to honor Synth.
By the way, Boston's eyes are glowing because he is a psychic.
