Thought I'd throw up a pic of my baby gorl, my little princess, Pudding.
I got her at a con November of last year that I took my cousin to and absolutely fell in love.
Red tailed boas were a dream animal, and since I was at a con, I was able to impulse without really impulsing :P
I ha the information as well as the funds to get her prepared nicely, and I got some tips from the girl helping me pick out her hides, decor water bowl etc (because she owned 10 at a time), but I'm still kicking myself over not buying the springtails for her enclosure. not to do the whole clean up job mind you, but to make things a little simpler and a little more bioactive.
I'm looking forward to see how she grows and evolves. She's already very curious and good natured. She's handled often and spoiled mercilessly :P

What a beautiful snake she is indeed. Red tails if raised correctly are very docile and curious by nature. A good boa to start with. Never met one I did not like. A buddy of mine in college had two of them and they loved just curling around your arm and using it as a perch. Such a friendly expression that. Such vibrant coloring and awesome pattering. I hope you have many happy years together.
I love snakes they are truly amazing creatures. I have had corn snakes, a rosy boa, a rubber boa, and some garter snakes. All very interesting in their own ways.
Got to say I also like your artwork on your arm, big fan or body art and free expression.
Have a most excellent day!
Almost forgot to ask which species of Redtail is she? My buddies were Columbian.

She's actually my second boa, the first ending in tragedy as Backwater Reptiles sent me an ill Snake. The original, Mandy, was a Central American Boa.
I'm fairly sure Pudding is a Columbian. I handle her as often as I can and she's sweet as can be<3
And thank you so much for the well wishes and all the nice comments<3

Ah that is to bad sorry to hear it. Yeah I have heard other similar stories in the past. One has to be very careful when buying this way. They can be sick form the start or can get ill in shipping from not being shipped correctly or sitting somewhere for too long in route. I see bet she would have been a beautiful snake too. Best to pick them up in person if at all possible.
Cool. Yup that's the way to do it, this way they will come to you if you wish it. I bet , they will always be if one treats them as they would a cat or dog.
You are most welcome.
