The 'Missile bowl' was at Normandie and Redondo beach blvd. across from Gardena memorial hospital. We got booted from that place a lot back in high school for 'denting' the lanes. One time they were so pissed, they didd'nt even want their shoes back when they threw us out.
Pup-n-taco was at Normandie + Rosecrans (there was an 'Astro burger' too). Hot dogs + tacos 25 cents each!
Ascot speedway was on Vermont at the end of 'junkyard row'. Figure eight racing every Sunday night! WOW!
