A couple of friends had mentioned they liked my marker work, so I found some line work I hadn't coloured and tried to give it a shot. And it promptly made me remember the reason I don't do marker work. >:C

I know that was a lot of hair to colour in retrospect, but my marker was dying a slow and painful death while I attempted to suck every last bit of its essence away into those unruly curls. At least with coloured pencils, you just have to sharpen it ; ; Plus, colours are so much more limited because they are so expensive. Sheesh, only 3 browns?

Anyways, this is just an un-named pirate lady that I doodled one day, most of her garb loosely based on my own elaborate pirate costume. Pretty much everything but the sword and ridiculous hair. I just really like drawing fat curls, what can I say? :T
