Really really gorgeous pic, and aye, I think you got the Studio Ghibli color pallette pretty much spot-on. The overall proportions give me the feeling that she's perhaps on the shorter side, which to me adds greatly to the cute factor. Well done, with congratulations going to your work on her!
Quite welcome! Ghibli's color pallette isn't the easiest thing to match or mimic, nor their backgrounding, which tends to be a VERY "painted" feel, akin to the work done by Disney back in the day. To have pulled it off this well speaks volumes for your work. Compliments where they are due, in my opinion.
yeah, it's been very hard to understand and reproduce this kind of vibes, still keeping my own traits and avoiding to just "rip off" completely something else :D
This style is pretty much based on ghibli style, as a tribute but I still keep my own artistic traits in it! and it wasn't easy to make both the things blend properly!
