Hai guys! MUTE

here! It's one of my favorite things about being a freelance artist, being able to make people smile whilst also picking up new techniques and skills as you go. I started digital art around 2014 and in 2017 I created MUTE who is who I am known as today! Back in college in 2018 I created a counterpart to MUTE known as SOUND, he is his inner voice, a figment of his imagination, and through this became what is known as the Divide, SOUND is very impulsive, he brings back horrid memories and intrudes on the peace whereas MUTE tries to forget his past and strives to learn.

I redrew this piece last year during my first year of university, personally I remember when I made this I didn't like it at all and knew I wanted to try again with more experience and so that brings us to 2020, admittedly it has not been a great year however life goes on and I'm still aiming for my own goals, I recently finished university and I am now saving to get my own house, I've recently opened my commissions again and I'm loving my work now so I thought today was the perfect day to redraw this piece!

This piece took roughly about 2 hours each time using my hp spectre laptop, wacom cintiq and clip studio paint Pro (in 2018 I used an acer laptop, wacom intuous tablet and manga studio) (in 2019 I used my hp spectre laptop, wacom intuous tablet and clip studio paint Pro)
