Badass!

As much as I like the picture overall, the "armor" is giving me trouble. With the exception of the greaves and maybe the vambraces it looks like a thin bodyglove with armor-esque look rather than actual protection. With the plate-armor aesthetic you seem to be aiming for you are correct on one thing: The armor plates themselves are not all that thick and in theory could be fitted this snugly around her body for the most part, but doing so would do more harm than good because any hit received would see its force directly transmitted into her body. Also there is the issue of thermal conductivity. Both of these issues were countered by adding layers of padding underneath - usually in the form of a gambeson or similar garment worn underneath the armor, resulting in the more bulky look commonly known from medieval plate armors.
