After leaving his tribe in the pursuit of a new life, Dominic decided against assimilating into other nearby tribes. The equine got as a far as he could from his own people, sailing east and settling on a new and foreign land. He explored, trained and learned different tongues. He spent a few years there, gaining valuable life experience. Dominic had little intention to return back to his home continent, but the though of his people did occasionally creep into his thoughts.

Dominic only decided to return when he personally received notice that his father had died.
