Archmage Valithrah Spellsong is my worgen mage in World of Warcraft, and since her acquisition of the glacial tidestorm mount an idea for an image of her riding it through an icy winter wonderland has circulated in my mind. Never has a mount been so fitting for a frost mage. This artwork is a continuation of a series of personal worgen character images focusing on linework and detail, with the intent to revisit and iterate on older images in the series with lessons learned through practice. For example, more use of reference pictures to allow more interesting poses to be explored, and the marvelous convenience of wowhead dressing room. My worgen characters mean a great deal to me, and it is a pity the classes they are locked out of miss out on most of my affection. I can only hope the next expansion adds another to the list of capabilities, monk being the most likely.
