dellaryosborne Aris and Xavius had become very close in such a short period of time. Xavius kept thinking about how to tell Aris how he felt. This was a new experience for him, because all the relationships he'd had had only lasted a short time. And he didn't know what to do about it. With Aris, he wanted to spend not just one or two nights, as with the girls who had come before her, but to be with Her, to protect her. He felt an inexplicable attraction to this girl. In a way, it even scared him. He couldn't find the words to tell her, to explain, to show her how he felt. For the first time, Xavius was afraid of being rejected, because no skirt had ever skipped past him before. He wasn't used to taking so long to get a girl.
As for Aris, our impregnable fortress, she realized that Xavius had become more than just a friend. She has developed strong feelings for him that she has to hide.
And one summer evening, everything suddenly fell into place.
ARIS and Xavius agreed to meet and take a walk. This evening was an unusually beautiful sunset. You would think that nature itself hinted that it was time for these two to cross the line that they had drawn for themselves and admit their feelings to each other.
Both of them felt their insides tighten that night, but no one took the first step. At one point, there was even an awkward silence.
Xavius was on the verge of confessing, he had been working up the courage to do so all along, but just as he was about to start talking, Aris interrupted him:
"I can't do this anymore!" We act as if we are small children. We are all afraid of something, afraid of our attraction to each other.
She didn't let Xavius say a word and kissed Him.
