I've been having a lot of fun with this after-dark account. It's made me revisit old characters for new ideas, like this pond kelpie from a reference sheet I've made 4 YEARS AGO and have never touched since. Her name is Posey. I have an interesting, but very unfinished idea for her and another character, but I hope to draw him later after some much-needed anatomy studies.
But yeah, just a doodle. The old design is overtly complex, so I wanted some practice on where I can simplify. I think I found a good balance, but I would like to simply those fin spots or see if they look alright removed entirely.
