Some old concept art from way back in the day when I was determined to write a series of stories revolving around the concept of "Kongzilla", another favorite concept of mine. A genetic combination of King Kong and Godzilla, my two most favorite monsters??? What's not to love???

I had a whole buncha ideas planned, set in it's own little alternate universe where Kong and Goji have long since died off and someone comes up with the brilliant plan to genetically splice the two.

If memory serves it was all apart of some plan to sell the scientific technology to hostile foreign powers, Kongzilla escapes and goes on a rampage, and eventually finds itself facing off against various monsters.

One in particular being my take on Biollante. Don't remember what exactly happens (probably have it jotted down on some notes somewhere :P) but in this world the combination that creates Biollante not only has Goji and Plant DNA but also the DNA of Miki Segusa (a re-occuring character in the 90's Godzilla series).

Thus this creature was born, more humanoid in appearance.

Remember having alotta fun with the vines and leaves motiff. ^,^
