This is a spotlight environment perspective sketch of Madeira. In this drawing, I focused more on crafting the perspective than rendering the environment. From doing these perspective drawings and taking the steps to add a background environment, I realise how lacking I am in rendering detailed environments. This often happens to me because I have the habit of crafting the character in my mind first. From the process of forming them, I invest too much energy and end up making background environments and the rendering of clothes suffer as a result.
