I actually grow some stuff in my garden for real, it helps saving on groceries since I'm making way below minimum wage xD, plus the benefit of having some extra fresh noms directly from the plant to the kitchen, and also helps against sedentarism... an excuse to get out of my room and spend a little time under the sun.

Besides of the things I "mass" produce like potatoes and garlic, I have two crazy single plants that give a lot of food almost all year long without me having to work hard for it, one is a tomato plant that I just need to trim a bit and guide the branches to hang well up in the support frame as they grow, and the other is a chili pepper plant... same thing just add supports to keep the branches from snapping off from the stupid amount of fruit.
