Well, that's how he looked in the original picture. You see, this is from season 3 of "The Lion Guard", and it takes place right after Ono was healed from his blurry vision and regained his sharp eyesight, though it'll never be as perfect as before.

Thank you for the compliment! When the mystery artist drew this for me, I said nearly the same thing! In context, in the third - and final - season of "The Lion Guard", Ono was healed by Queen Janna the Lion after he suffered through weeks of dull vision (since he dove into a volcano, saved Bunga the Honey Badger, and caught volcanic ash in his eyes). He couldn't see as far as he used to, but his vision is crystal clear when it comes to his near-sighted-ness. Thinking about that, it warms my heart even more when I gaze at how "Lion Guard-like" the mystery artist's style is. It's absolutely perfect!!

The Lion Guard ones are the best of the bunch because of how well the styles match. ^^
