2016 art, Hugo enjoying a drive in his old car. It's at least as old as he is, yet somehow both he and the car are still going strong.
I don't draw Hugo very often, but he was always one of my favorites. There's just something charming about a chubby dog that's also a smart yet somewhat absent-minded teacher in his mid-60s and dresses like a grandpa sometimes.
I have a lot of fun drawing these kinds of cartoony cars sometimes--the proportions between driver and vehicle tend to be a bit "off" in my older art, though.
