In late 2015, I was introduced to something called "Fursona Generator", a webpage that would generate random character prompts. I played with it a bit in early 2016 and got a few decent prompts out of it, and made a bit of a series out of designing characters based on them.

The prompt for this one was "striped fennec fox. it is a magical girl. it comes from space."

While I really liked her design and the overall concept, I didn't do much with her until years later, when I developed her more. Her name is now Pax Zerdana, she (along with Dusty, another stripey fennec-esque character of mine) are now members of a species called the Zerdans, and their homeworld is a planet called Silouanos (although Dusty resides on my parallel Earth, called Demeter). Pax is a security officer working on one of the moon-based spaceports, her position being like that of a combination customs enforcement and TSA agent.
