This piece can move two spaces and only forward, but it can move sideways one space to take another piece only,… and this piece can move 4 spaces, but only in an ‘L’ space,…. This one can move as much as you want but only in this direction,… Is she making this up as she goes? How can the rules of a game be this complicated?”
‘Checkmate!’
‘Huh,… What?’
“I think that means she just won, right? Well,…. I’ll get it eventually,… or not,… and she’s having fun, so that makes me happy. Okay, let’s try this again, maybe a little slower this time,… Hmm, these pillows she brought are nice, very soft,...”

Fresh from the Tuesday Chibi Stream of
shonuff44 comes a collab between myself and 
jurgenblue of my character Ember, and his character Lucia, playing chess, or trying to atleast.
After our previous collab ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36948957/ ) we started discussing another picture with Ember and Lucia and ended up getting this cute and fun collab from ShoNuff44, where Lucia is trying to teach Ember how to play chess. Lucia certainly seems to be enjoying herself, while Ember isn’t quite getting it, and is starting to wonder if Lucia is making up the rules as she goes. Lucia’s first appearance on the chibi stream is certainly a cute one, she looks quite happy and adorable as she plays with her friend. Poor Ember looks thoroughly confused, but she’s trying her best to learn a game that is difficult for most people, much less a jungle girl living on a remote tropical island. And Sho was kind enough to add the cushions, as he felt it would be better than having them sitting in the grass, very considerate of him. Once again, I can’t help but be impressed by how adorable these chibi pictures can be, and how good Ember looks in Sho’s chibi style, even when confused like this. And Lucia looks equally adorable and seems so happy in chibi style as well. A great picture and another really fun collab, thank you for doing this with me, Jurgenblue. :)

Indeed, and yeah, she'll get the hang of it eventually. Heh, maybe, though I can't see Ember getting angry or anything, she's not really the competitive type like that,... she's just happy to play with a friend, win or lose. But when she doesn't really understand the game like this, and gets confused, like she clearly is, that is another story. ;)
