The second of the two Muse-inspired pictures (the first being Butterflies and Hurricanes). A theme through several of their CDs is alien invasion and the end of the world. At least if I decide to do Exogenesis 2 and 3 I won't have paint all those damn buildings.

The specific part of the song this is supposed to illustrate is the middle part, when the first set of vocals ends and the guitar starts. I pictured (at that point in the song) the captive aliens finally getting free and wreaking horrible destruction on their captors.

Honestly it looks like a combination of one of the angels from the Neon Genesis Evangelon series and one of the hive attackers from Gears of War. Just in my opinion, I think this is absolutely awesome. The illustration giving the appearance of 80's science fiction art. Great work man!
