The calphinx is a fusion of a camel dolphin and sink, a combination I thought of. It was for a college assignment, where you make the fusion character from three things. Then, you draw random words from a bucket and add those aspects to the character. The words were decided by the students, and the three I chose were basketball, athlete, and extremely confident. Lucky that those three seemed to match. One person in the class got "juice reduction" which I have no idea what that means. Glad that wasn't me.
