Not been feeling the monsterbun as my sona lately so i've been redesigning my sona.
The big bad Monsterbun will be retired into an OC/Mascot~
so here's a pile of stuff based around Boss and his mental projection, X
X isn't a living entity and is purely just a controlled projection by Boss. Whilst being summoned or is in an unstable, shifting state, X will glow a ghostly blue, elsewise will appear like a perfectly normal person.
Only those that are able to see spirits or ghosts will spot the mental link between Boss and X, though it's not exactly a deeply guarded secret.
Boss basically uses X to make up for his muted physical capabilities, roleplaying out as characters to interact with those around him like a remote controlled character. Despite this, sometimes he will argue with X as he uses him to self reflect on his own state of mind, or if he's just lonely and or bored.
Boss prefers to remain out the limelight, using X to communicate or interact, in a mix of insecurity and also due to feeling more through X than he can with his physical body due to physical handicaps.
Despite said handicaps, its aparrently that Boss can change shape and size, sometimes even resembling that of a doll, and seems to be made of rubber, though the fur and hair covering his inorganic body is soft to the touch.

This is, in a way... Someone being able to mentally project their own imaginary friend into reality, and have that serve as a sort of proxy for themselves because they, in their perception of reality, are too timid to socialize.
Or in a way... Like an Autist who communicates better over text and online in person, he's more comfortable if he can (literally) project a persona to others, a sort of "ideal self" that he doesn't feel he can achieve in reality?

I like the bit tails on them. And the whole concept of this is really interesting, and I can relate to how someone else put it. With text and stuff over online, I can project my best self that I just can't do in reality, since I trip over my words so much when I'm talking. I can't wait to see more of these two.
