Sammy Luna has become the first female subject to the very first batch to take a syringe, mainly due to how curious and interested she is in this project. Not much is known about Sammy, except Timothy Soro's log about her experience in the secret camp. Sammy's progress causes other female recruits to workout hard to obtain her new ranks.
Thoughts of recruiting women like Sammy into the MALAKAS Project caused an emergency meeting with the highers-up behind the said project, leading to the discussion regarding possible female soldiers, and Mayor Benjamin North brought up his recent experience in one town in Northern Germany where everyone is literally muscular, all thanks to the muscle-inducing parasite. He himself said: "In this current climate plaguing the western world, strong women in one northern German town don't seem to care, neither do these alien parasites. However, my advice is to observe each person carefully, we'll never know their motive until things go out of hand." This speech persuaded the highers-up to allow female recruits to join, as long as they express their personal reasons for joining the project.
