Y’know, I can be way too hard on myself sometimes. I think I made this during a rough patch, because I don’t think there’s any other reason why I wouldn’t share this other than my own overly harsh criticism. Heck, I’m not even sure which tablet I used. Either this was one of the last digital pieces I used my small Wacom tablet, or it was one of the first I did with my XP-Pen tablet. *shrug*

But I do know for sure that I based the background specifically on my acrylic landscape painting I made during a workshop, only digitally, obviously. Minilla himself (as well as his “smoke” ring) is from an Inktober sketch from last year.
