I spent many hours trying to get the angles right for the background and making sure I wasn't just flooding the image with neon lights, having used more than 20 different references for the shop signs and alleyway buildings which were directly inspired by the many famous side streets of Tokyo and other metropolitan cities.

Your urban landscapes are vibrant, eye-catching and wonderfully immersive. This could easily be official artwork for projects like Blade Runner and Cyberpunk 2077, and reminds me a lot of brilliant photography of Masashi Wakui (though his predominant yellow/blue color toning and details in environment differ from this and feel more like a vintage noir caught in an endless loop where time has stopped in a location a couple decades ago and thus is kind of a study of yesterday/today, while yours is rather about today/tomorrow).
Awesome work, Moose! I hope to see similar pieces of yours hanging in a gallery, someday :)

OMG! This is AMAZING! :-O
I love the composition of this piece; a low angle showing the city skyline. The reflections in the wet streets is a nice touch, very cyberpunk. I'm curious, what art program did you use?
Also, speaking of cyberpunk, I think this song is a perfect fit for this piece:
