Snavely and Mouse set up a little speakeasy school, using a space formed by these little rocks. In this scene he's responding to a bug (that I didn't draw) coming up to them and saying that Sam sent him. This is the rare drawing I've done where objects are more important than figures. I'm pretty happy with how everything came out, though. The hat looks like a hat, the book looks like a book, and the rock ... well, it's got some shape, which is unusual for me. In thumbnail this looks really sharp. Maybe I need to start reducing these pictures, which start at 1280 pixels, down to 640 before uploading, and then I can look like a minimally competent cartoon copyist.
