Hello again everyone, a Lombax-gal this time!
Ever since the Future series I've felt that the series lost its satirical edge, making everything from narrative to designs a bit too plushy and safe. This was cemented in my eyes with the Reboot and now with the announcement of Rift Apart. This left me wanting to make a character from the R&C universe with a bit more teeth.
At first this was suppose to be a simple R63 of Ratchet but I wanted to take it a step further, so I went ahead and made an original character and named her after a Pipe-Wrench. I honestly can't take Insomniacs lore seriously since they don't seem to either but since Angela did not have a tail I figured I should exclude one here too. Maybe she just tucks it in.
I imagine her personality to be fairly similar to how Ratchet was in the original PS2 game, morally flexible, easily enticed by materialistic things and not afraid to be snarky or insulting. Probably a fair bit dumber, trigger happy and borderline sadistic at times.

I might have gone overboard a bit, probably compensating for my frustration with how dull and safe the new characters look in the Future series. I just miss the cynicism and satire the series had, its lost all its edge now and the new art direction reflects this. Just wanted to bring some of that edge back.
