I long dreadfully for the landscapes of places like Norway and Iceland, the bigger-than-life fit-for-gods rock behemoths.
And when I stumbled upon this image of the Senja island in Norway, I felt compelled: https://www.instagram.com/p/B_LAeA3qXg0/

But yes. The scale. I'm. Very interested in trying out the feeling of travelling across the world of Death Stranding once it arrives on the PC. Gamifying hiking feels super weird, but also so, so very delightful and everything I've seen of the landscapes indicates I'd love to just stand and pause at places to just look around

I long to be able to create such beautiful paintings.
I feel you truly are going to enjoy DS! It's the only reason I bothered with a PS4 admittedly -- there's a sad yet beautiful catharsis to the game. It is also so incredibly beautiful so there WILL be times where you just stop and take it all in.
I wish I went hiking more often.

I think I can live without bogs and marshes though not without the berries that grow in them... but those should grow nicely on all those granite rocks between all the pines etc.
Real forests I do want...
Now I wonder if there's a place in the world where all of these things coexist, and in close proximity... hmmmm.
