It's summer time! This means that some winged creatures should jump directly to the water to refresh their feathers. Of course, as it should be, the first one is going to be the Princess of friendship Twilight Sparkle. All of you are ready for some wet manes and diapers? :3
The idea of this drawing is to do a small collection of drawings related to summer. You can leave all your ideas about how the summer could be well-represented in a drawing and I'll be more than pleased to try something. I already have a couple that I'll be doing pretty soon. I hope you like this idea :)

How adorable, Sweetie! The way I imagine this is with Twilight diving with her hooves out and wings spread as she heads for the deeper part of the water. It is much easier to get used to the water when you just immerse yourself in it with one big dive. Plus, knowing Twilight is letting herself feel free to not worry and just have fun, I can see Rainbow Dash feeling like a 'splash battle' must be started. Twi would not plunge into the water without knowing how to ensure the maximum amount of SPLOOSH to go from her splash-down point would splash on top of the competitive rainbow-maned Wonderbolt.
Though, if I know the Mane 6, Applejack will poke fun at how RD got totally soaked by Twilight.
AJ would laugh-and-laugh until rainbow would use her 'water funnel' technique to bring up a gush of water that, along with further soaking herself, would drench Applejack.
As Applejack looks ready to get back at Rainbow, the proud Pegasus would forget how wet her wings are, along with how droopy her diaper is, too, and find gravity plopping her quickly into the water.
Next we'd have padded Pinkie looking to use her powers to try and out perform Twilight in getting all the fun started as Fluttershy and Rarity try to distance themselves from all the 'watery warfare' going on.
Perhaps, as the four girls splish and splash about, some ducks, geese, and beavers would come by to ask Fluttershy if she can tell her friends to calm it down? Flutters would go to try, but would be quickly splashed and pulled down before she can finish her request on behalf of the local wildlife.

It was very happy for me to feel my creativity come out as I thought about this picture.
Soon, after I catch up on some promised work to friends, I am going to start making more stories based on 'The Padded Princess Of The Foals'. There are a few of her daily words of advice that I would love to bring some stories to life with.
