I'm running the Descent into Avernus campaign right now, and the party needed a merchant capable of selling them potions and other alchemical goodies, so I had to make one up.

Snuvna is a talented apothecary that has made a killing selling Potions of Minor Flying to the Mezzoloths that frequent the Tower of Urm to visit the wizard Mordencainen. The potions act as any normal Potion of Flying would, except their effects only persist for 1 minute instead of 1 hour. Useful for hopping onto the island in the middle of the boiling blood lake that Mordencainen's tower typically sits on.

Snuvna is a shrewd businessman who takes advantage of the Wondering Emporium's No Fighting, No Spellcasting, No Exceptions rule to charge a premium for his potions and reagents. He isn't beyond bribes, however, and the party's more promiscuous member managed to get them a discount by spending a night with the old kobold.
