Info: Vladimir was the founder and leader of an evil cult religion that he called Cult of the Undead. Not much known about his earlier life, other than the fact that he was no longer human the moment he sold his soul for great knowledge and power, hoping to one day conquer the land of Iralan and rule in its death. His father was rumored to have been a warlock while his mother was a fiend from an alternate dimension unknown to man. By then, Vladimir was raised by a brotherhood of monks in the Northern Frozen Lands. At age 18, Vladimir became an apprentice to the head monk, traveling to many distant lands and was soon introduced to the gods of the Ancients. Who are they? Nobody truly knows. Vladimir traveled a lot during his apprenticeship and his own eccentricities lead to chaotic behavior, and abuse of power when he had reached his 40s, discovering a number of forbidden spells, incantations, and rituals in a secret chamber not meant for human contact. In his search for further knowledge and wisdom, Vladimir made numerous advancements in necromancy through detailed research in hopes of extending his lifespan, violating the rules of creation, evolution, and arcane magic with devastating results. Desperate to someday lead the Brotherhood of Monks, Vladimir began to secretly practice a few of the forbidden incantations down in the secret tunnels below the monastery, even researching the processes of life, death, and undeath which lasted a decade, resulting in the creation of newer enchantments. Afterward, Vladimir went on to learn and command and reanimate the dead, forming relationships with dark elves, vampires, orcs, goblins, ogres, demons, and liches. The sudden change and treachery in Vladimir's personality aroused suspicion and fear among the monks as they sensed an upcoming evil within the apprentice. Vladimir soon met a mage who was dedicated to the worship of the Dark Gods and followed, becoming bitter, devilish, and evil. Following a battle of the Chosen Ones from the Holy Lands, Vladimir was stripped of his title as apprentice and future leader when the monks found out his secret, destroying what was left of his sanity and fully embraced all evil, having already gained the power to heal very rapidly, and to avoid aging. In a vengeful rage, Vladimir attacked and laid waste to the monastery, killing all that once roamed the grounds, and rebuilt everything in his image to create the Cult of the Undead, learning to summon ghoulish and unholy creatures to do his bidding. However, during an expedition to the Northern Lands in a plot to conquer and lay waste, Vladimir was ambushed by the Chosen Ones who summoned a spell incantation to trap the evil necromancer in a giant block of crystal ice that his evil powers were no match for. For almost 100 years, Vladimir remained trapped in the ice that never melts. Until now, the evil necromancer was somehow set free by an unknown stranger for reasons unknown, allowing Vladimir the opportunity to seek and regain what he never had a chance to complete, starting with attacking the kingdom of King Henry, and placing everyone under a sleep enchantment, including Ashling's parents, leaving the princess to reluctantly escape from his clutches when she found out that ordinary weapons were no match against Vladimir. Her only hope was to leave her home and seek help on how to defeat him before the other kingdoms bowed before him.
