He is the perfect guy to hang out with, sure does sound like a fun guy! All he needs is to enjoy Pizza and I'd EASILY become Dougal's roommate! (\^o^/)
Gameboys Maybe retro and obsolete now but I still enjoy them quite a lot.
The very first Gameboy I I ever owned was the Game Color the lime green color to be exact.
But I ended up having to give it away years later when times got really tough in order to help my family keep the house afloat. It made me sad but I knew it would be worth it in the end because it was more important.
About 4 or 5 years ago I bought the Game Boy Advance SP ags-101 Edition (AKA: improved battery life and back light on the screen)
Amazon was selling it for only about $40 so I immediately jumped on it and it even came with free shipping and handling 4 games that came free and even the official carrying case that you could strap on things like backpacks and what not along with the official GBA charger too! It's the Pearl blue color and even though it was used it works plays and runs just like it's brand new! Easily one of my best Amazon purchases ever!
( I might actually do some shopping on Amazon later tonight if not tomorrow afternoon! )

When I first started drawing him, I imagined him as being in college, but I quickly decided I like the idea of him being a big, awkward nerd still in high school quite a bit, and added him there instead. He's friends with that little deer dork, Devon, and the bullies know better than to mess with Dougal too much--he might look pretty calm and gentle most of the time, but if set off, he'll put his size to good use!
Once he's off to college, though, he might be looking for a roommate.
(Forever ago I think I asked what sort of fursona you have and I vaguely remember you describing a hybrid of a dog and a lizard--you should note me that description again sometime.)
As for pizza... if you don't mind that he won't want to have meat-based toppings on it, he's down! I rambled about this once or twice in the past I think, the idea of herbivores eating pizza... the crust is bread, the sauce is tomato, cheese is an animal product, sure, but he's a mammal so he's no stranger to milk. It's the meat toppings that are the major issue, and those can just be skipped in favor of all the fruit, vegetable, and fungal toppings.
However, I find his choices in pizza toppings borderline offensive personally, as I want all the meat and none of the veggies. The salty tears of the vegans give it that extra flavor!
I had a couple Game Boy Colors myself, but I never played with them, and when I was between jobs back in 2016 I had to sell them to make a bit of extra money as well. Honestly, while I miss *having* them a bit, they weren't doing much for me just being tucked away in the back of a drawer, hopefully someone is getting some use and enjoyment out of them now at least. Only thing I ever really played on them was Pokemon anyways, honestly.
