well i mean, that's kinda true, the airbus a340 varients have more range than just 9,000 nautical miles, that's the 777-200LR and 300ER, the ultimate a340 which is the 500, because of its short fuselage and high thrust rolls Royce Trent engines has a range of about, yes 9,000 miles, but operators can make modifications to make it go as far around 9,111 nautical miles, and the a350 series, has replaced the a340 variants, also a compeiter to boeings 787 and 777 x series, with about 10,300 nautical miles
