Here's one of the deviations from DeviantArt from Christmas 2019 where I drew Shanise (Dinotopia: Quest for the Ruby Sunstone) with her belly filled with water.
One hot day in Dinotopia, Shanise, a female Corythosaurus, came walking to the beach ride pool, when she felt something in her throat. "What?" She said to herself. "My throat feels dry. It may be hot today, but all I need is something to drink."
She then saw Mara and Spazz, who were just hanging out. "Hey guys," said Shanise. "Say, do you have anything to drink?" Mara and Spazz looked at each other. "I have a bucket," said Mara, "but it has a hole on it." Then, Spazz spotted a green vine, with a yellow cap on it. "How about this?" Recommended Spazz, as he handed the vine to Shanise. Shanise looked at the vine. "Hmm, that seems okay," she said, looking confused, and scratching her head. "But okay, I'll use it."
And Spazz dropped one side of the vine in the water, and Shanise with the other side in her mouth. "I'm so thirsty," she said, "that my will get even more dry if I don't drink!" She started taking one sip, then another, and another. Shanise was now drinking almost all the water from one of the pools. "Do you think the ocean is sweet?" Spazz asked. "For these pools, yes," replied Mara. Meanwhile, Shanise's belly stretched out a little. She finally stopped when she finished the water from the third pool. "Whew! What a relief!" Said Shanise, with drippings of water on her mouth.
"Spazz, would you be so kind and get the vine out of my mouth?" She said. "Well, of course," said Spazz. "If I can reach the hose." Spazz climbed on top of Shanise's water-filled belly, and grabbed the vine out of her mouth. "Thank you, Spazz," said Shanise, with her belly sloshing around. She got out from the pool, and hiccup a little. "Excuse me," said Shanise. She went red with embarrassment. "Thanks, Mara. And thanks to you, Spazz. Now I'll go have fun at the beach."
Shanise tried to walk, but because of how big her belly got, she was having a difficult time of walking. Mara and Spazz giggled. "Well, well, well, Shanise," said Mara, "Looks like you're gonna have to exercise to get your body back the way before." And she and Spazz laughed, including Shanise, who just smiled.
