However long the city waste known as Motherboard has existed in Refuge, so has Wada. A mysterious Techno-Shaman, Wada has diligently, if silently, tended to the city's many different infrastructures needs. From the control circuits regulating the clear platinum pipes cycling neon particulates for energy to maintaining the hydro-dam water purification station, he seems to be a creature who is both highly knowledgable about how the city works and seemingly capable of being in many places at once.

Some speculate that he is merely the face for a vast colony of maintenance machines that help to lengthen the time-period before MotherBoard eventually dies. Others suggest that he is an immortal creature who protects the citizens of Motherboard via the use of time-manipulation. What does seem to be certain is that killing him does not seem to keep him down. Like a vengeful revenant, he continues to come back, again and again, to either protect or repair Motherboard as many times as is required.

Is he flesh and blood, or merely a machine given purpose? At the end of the day, if he provides you with food and shelter, would it matter?
