J-1013 is an old man. While he had not been born when Motherboard fell through the layers of the universes and landed within the horrid layer known as Refuge, he knew greatly of its effect. From his wealthy family's library and mentoring he learned of the wonderous reality they had come from and the planet of Vecks IV from which their ancestors had been born upon. He came to understand how and why the people of the techno-waste city of Motherboard suffered and what needed to be done to raise them from it.

J-1013 was quickly forced to grow up as his family prepared him to take on a leading role amongst the citizens of Motherboard. During this time, resources continued to dwindle throughout the city and so action was eventually needed. As such, the A through I - Series Armored Forces rose to protect and provide for the city but each were massacred or lost to the dangers of Refuge over a period of decades, taking with them precious and irreplaceable technology. However, each subsequent generation learned from the lessons of the lost and so improvement was made, each new series of Armored Forces showing better success than the last.

Choosing to join the Armored Forces at the behest of his family, J-1013 quickly rose through the ranks of the I-Series Alpha Crusaders as a competent and inspiring leader until his eventual promotion as head of the division following the I-Series Armored Forces near-complete extinction and evolution into the J-Series Armored Forces. Kept alive through a variety of cyborg and biological implants, J-1013 continues to lead his division with the expert precision that only an educated upbringing and dominating character could manifest.

Here, J-1013 makes one of his few appearances on the battlefield. Wearing ancient Crown Type XIII power armor, he prepares to utilize the full power of centuries of experience and forgotten technology to decimate a would-be foe.
