The hunter-killer is a highly advanced nano virus that can replicate, self repair and create all forms of weapons and armor. When not active, It's a gray liquid substance and will stay in this form until someone is infected by it. When infecting a host the hunter-killer will immediately replicate itself, covering the host/victim’s body in titanium like armor, replacing limbs and organs for cybernetic parts and weapons, turning him/her into a lethal war machine at the cost of the host's free will. While being infected the host is fully aware and awake but unable to move and can only watch in horror as they become an enslaved killing machine. Only death of the host or a powerful enough emp will release him/her from the nanovirus, deactivating it. Once the virus is deactivated it can be destroyed by fire abilities or incendiary weapons. All hunter-Killers are not the same, their weapons and armor will vary depending on the host size, gander, abilities and physical health. The hunter-killer virus will infect any living being it comes in contact with, by either ingesting it, injection or contact with skin. The virus was created for one purpose, to Hunt down super powered individuals, to kill and harvest them or infect them.
