This here is Hansuto. Hara's uncle. And he has quite a bit of backstory to him.
While he does come from Konosaki, he ended up wandering the village at some point around the prime of his youth. Hansuto very much loves his food. This tanuki enjoys sampling tastes of whatever he could find. So, one day, he left the village, to see what lay beyond. At one point during his journey, he came across a incredibly rare fruit. Known as the Hunger Fruit (Kúfuku fruit, or in its original japanese, Kúfuku no kajitsu/空腹の果実), it appears as a glowing blue nectarine. And, being one of the very few Konosaki tanuki to not know the dangers of eating the fruit, he proceeded to eat it. The taste was divine, but left Hansuto with a ravenous, endless hunger. One that is incredibly hard to sate. It is only through the bond of family, that the effects of the fruit can be undone.

Unfortunately, no one knows that Hansuto is Hara's uncle. And Hansuto doesn't remember much of the village. Especially under the curse of the fruit.

That said, talking about Hansuto himself, he is a good-hearted tanuki, but has a keen eye for food. Of course, he knows to be well and all. But, put him near food and more often than not, it's usually gone within the hour~ :3
