It's been so long since I've gotten to see an emu. This one is thoroughly pleased, I can tell.
Last time I got to see an emu was back in Brisbane when I was about 6 or 7. As per my odd luck, I went to see some, only for two or three, I can't remember, to come over and rub against me. Didn't stop until I gave each of them some strokes. Except for one, who demanded I continue petting him whenever I switched to another. Lovely birbs they can be, emus.
