Today my grandpa, Ben, passed away to cancer. I grew up with him, mom and grandma on my mom's side back in the 90s, when I lived in New York. He wasn't related to me in blood, though. My grandma remarried to him probably before I was even born. I always knew he wasn't my real grandpa but it didn't matter. I treated him as family, regardless, and I loved him so much and so did he. He called me "Little Buddy". Although when I did crazy shit he would justifiably call "Loony Tunes" but it was all in good faith. I'll miss you.

This was made in Blender. I'm a 2D artist at heart but still want to learn 3D. Outside of digital sketches, I haven't done much because nothing was quite as flexible as Adobe Animate - although I knew it as Macromedia Flash. With their Grease Pencil tool, their 2D feature, maturing I decided to give it a try and it's pretty much like that and more, and that's something I've been looking for a long time.

I'm good at drawing characters but not environments. This is a good start towards 2D characters in and learning 3D environments. I just wish it wasn't on a sad note but that's just how I'm feeling right now.
