so I was discussing this video the other day with

and we thought it be a cool concept for a design....but through the comments and also having watched this video before, they all say "It's demons at work". But upon getting frustrated I let my brain just
start to click and I noticed that one comment was " 2:23 slowed down to .25 and you will see the mask go inside the costume. Some type of pulley system where the masks are pulle down inside the costume with strings." - EverythingViral- who posted that comment. I suppose that's all I needed to start clicking away.
so it's all a matter of paper thin (if not even thinner then paper) that peels away the mask.
Hopefully the illustration and descriptions above help convey this idea and if anyone would either like to contribute to this idea or have any questions on what any of this means feel free to ask and I'll do my best to explain.
Keep in mind, this is still an INCREDIBLE magic trick, and as far as I can tell even if you can figure
out the mechanism that makes this work it is still clear that this is a type of juggling act that needs to be learned let a lone figured out, and I still say these guys deserve mad respect for this trick.

It's just a very clever application of an ages old magician's gymmick known as a "pull" - this is usually an elastic cord that runs up the sleeve and which is used to make objects vanish from the hands by rapidly yanking them up the sleeve and out of sight.
In this case the "mask" is a sandwich of layers made of a very thin silk-like material, and each layer is individually connected to a "pull" that rapidly yanks them down into the neckline of the costume he's wearing. You'll note that every time the mask "changes" one of his hands is out of sight. That would be the hand that is activating the pull mechanism for that layer.
There are some performances of this act, where if you step through them a frame at a time, you can catch the mask being "changed" via this fashion.
