Here's an odd challenge I gave myself today. Could I design a character who could conceivably be in the Looney Tunes cast and ALSO have it be Chuck Jones-esque...without directly ripping off a pre-existing character? Also, could I make a character that was a call-back/expy of the original Daffy Duck personality (that is, completely insane) and look the part, but not be a clone either?
Understandably she's not exactly like a real loon, but then the Looney Tunes characters don't really look exactly like their animal counterparts either. So you gotta kill some detail and be selective about what you bring from the real animal.
Another difficulty was not turning this into...*sigh* Lola Bunny. There really isn't a non-love interest (that isn't elderly or someone's mom) female character I can recall from the original Looney Tunes cast. So making a noticably female character without giving her tertiary gendered characteristics, like boobs or a bow, is very hard.

Well? She's fun to draw at least! And it was a fun exercise to break away from my usual style and try on another for a change.

*yes I'm aware of Shirley the Loon, but Shirley was no loon. She was more like a goose or a generic white duck.
