The first game was insane I wanted to just turn the radio off and have things just eat me. Not static STATIC buhahhwaaaaaaaa!!! Bullets were so rare everything got 2 bullets till it went down then beat to death with the pipe. Finished with the max rating and that wasn't the intention at ALL.
this may sound odd but silent hill never scared me but i only played silent hill 3 i found it funny as hell to see a young girl running around with a metal pipe and beating the crap outta monsters but there was this one time when i was just wondering around i turned a corner and smacked straight into one of those knee high long legged green monsters who have tiny lil arms for the first time that was quick a scare and I do what I always do when I am startled... pull the trigger on the shotgun and blow its face clean off
wait zomg! reason SH2 is bettar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUDcSeUvkOw K dun spamming yer arts, I wuffs this pic btw if yew couldnt notice x 3x'
ive watched play threws on all of them <total cheap bastard> and while I guess alot of the horror is in playing the game the first time non of it seemed that scary to me maybe its one of those things you gotta play it at night alone and with the lights off kinda thing which i don't do cuz it hurts my eyes x,x
You can't get into the atmosphere of such games by simply watching a playthrough of it.
Sadly, if you've seen the game already, there's no point in playing it, Silent Hill is all about making the player imagine things that might happen (by making you explore familiar places, the clever use of noises triggering primal fears, ect...), once you know exactly what awaits you, the magic won't work.
