So we came across werewolves, and this happened during the campaign. Of all characters to get.. -that- particular bite, it had to be my own, go figure. Needless to say, things got very much more so dangerous as it wasn't so much the Lycanthropy that caused the most amount of problems, it was the underlying corruption behind it, straight from the Mother of Werewolves herself. These were absolutely no ordinary werewolves, no. These were very much empowered by Jezelda herself, and ultimately far, far more dangerous than we ever anticipated or even thought. The next span of months was spent in, let's just say, a far less than hospitable land trying to stop the blight before it consumed Erraz entirely (and rendered my character an NPC) while also putting an end to perhaps one of the most devious, insane plans Demon Lords have ever put together, bringing a country to their knees and a land to it's breaking point.
There's a lot to go through and unpack during this saga, but this was just the start of it. Erraz had just been bit not too long ago now, and regrettably knew what fate he faced next. There was no curing this that they knew of, only carrying it through to the end. The whole party knew what was to come, and everybody was very much upset by this turn of events, despite the fact that we had won the initial first strike. The victory, nearly Pyrrhic, because of the cost it took at the end.
This hit Erraz's best friend and partner in crime, Parsnip the hardest, and of course his mind-linked companion Baz felt every ounce of everything he was going through. This was the last night he was himself, so to speak. The full moon was looming and this was the only option they had left to keep what comes next in check, nothing else worked. Jezelda's grasp was far too strong for any normal cure, and now the only thing left was to see this through to the very end of the moon cycle, and hope control is regained.
While it seems like a melancholy scene as a whole, these two were doing what they did the best: Enjoy a fine drink and spend their moments to the fullest singing all the shanty's they knew off the top of their head to keep their spirits up as best they could.
Unfortunately, a beast was looming. One that has changed the last few months of the campaign drastically. Change is very much a major theme of it. I've got a images of everything here and there that lays it all out. These last few months have been possibly some of the greatest we've done in our ongoing D&D campaign, with many emotions high and low all the way through until we've finally got through to the very end. Did we win? You'll find out soon.

I actually developed my smelly Gnoll named 'Tremble' because of D&D.
Since our 'DM' needed an abnormal candidate, and I proposed my Gnoll convinced they are a Paladin. Hence the birth of one character in my gallery, Tremble. Outside the nude image, he wears old armour and wields an anchor, convinced it's a two handed weapon. Name is based on 'People shaking when they see him' despite being an absolute sweet-heart.
Actually, our campaign ended with him earning a 'chain' to swing his anchor. All he desired. xD

Sorry for clearing my last comment, I wanted to 'Edit' and well, prompts happened. c3c
But yeah, Tremble might be a massive Gnoll, but all he needs is a chain, hugs, and some appreciation for being the literal 8'0" power-house that tosses enemies aside. xD
Despite not being too bright...
